The proportion of different nutrients cannot be stated in particular numbers. It varies individual to individual and is affected by several factors like age, occupation, body type, etc. We have a natural way by which can know if you are getting the right meal or not.

  1. Always eat one palm-full of proteins in your diet like eggs, fish, meat, etc.
  2. Always eat veggies as much as the size of a fist.
  3. Add a hollow handful of carbohydrates in your diet like rice, chapattis, bread.
  4. Eat fat, butter, and oils as the size of your thumb.

This is a natural method. This hand rule will help you in starting but can be easily adjustable when you develop more hunger.
