 It is not recommended, but you can take it in small quantities sometimes. However, ketchup is less in nutritional value than lots of other sauces like mayonnaise and it is also lower in calories than mayonnaise, it’s still not a healthy choice for you. Ketchup is made up of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and salt. While one spoon of ketchup may not be that bad for you, relying on the ketchup could result in overloading on sodium.
